While starting my day (on the computer anyways), I went to my favorite Three Stooges site/forum and saw a topic about George Carlin's death. I hoped that it was some sort of sick joke, but apparently not.

The man was my hero, and at the young of 13, I can honestly say that his views/opinions changed my life. I watched every special that he did, and have read all of his books. He didn't think like most people did, and was "out there" on his views. He will be sorely missed. :cry:

I still cannot believe it. I would have figured that George Carlin would have lived to be 100...or at the least be immortal. :wink:

Yeah its hard to believe, it was the first thing that popped up when I went to check my mail. From the 7 words, to all the Kevin Smith movies he was in recently, and even as the Hippy Dippy Weather Man on Rowan & Martin's Laugh In, he was a genius. Its a sad day, and he will be missed.
