Well it had been a while since I posted anything down here and I know my faithful fans wanted to know what I was pondering....ok...so I was just bored.

This past year saw an end to the DDP era of the GI Joe comics. I was pretty upset when it came to light, working with the DDP crew for almost two years in an "official" capacity gave me a different perspective.
However, me being also the owner of THE place to talk about GI Joe comics I had to keep up with the times. IDW has been nothing but a great group of guys to communicate with and they have put together some top writers and artists (to include our very own Robert Atkins...yeah...I'll claim him from the site).
The new year will see at least four new Joe titles on the shelf and another one in the toy ailse. We will see GI Joe brought to the big screen...and little screen. And the toys will continue to be at your local shop.
Overall it is a good year to be in the business of GI Joe.
On the personal level, today started a new chapter in my own life, I started a Masters of Arts program in Military History (Civil War concentration). It will be done online so I can keep serving Uncle Sam for a little longer.

So there you have it. 2008 brought a close to one chapter in GI Joe history...and 2009 will see a new era ushered in.
