I noticed that too, but there is currently a Deep Six action figure out that is based on the most recent Torpedo figure. But really, it is just a uniform. No reason some uniforms can't be generic. As far as the face only goes, he doesn't seem to be the same ethnicity as Torpedo.

It's interesting to me that this series is the place where many old villains are being reintroduced. Major Bludd, Firefly and the old, but less classic Interrogator.

Sweet. I have been all about the slow gradual pace they've laid out the brief, quiet appearances of Cobra...

...as soon as we see the Commander, it ALL changes. Months (years almost) of a handful of awesome blueshirts, Baroness, and the Twins as our only Cobras, then suddenly we have Serpentor, Bludd, Firefly, Mindbender, and Interrogator of all people?

Or am I thinking of someone else?
Cause most of the later era cobras tended to just suck rocks.
Pretty much everybody after Firefly and Zartan....(Personally I blame Hasbro, but what can you do?)

I saw IDW redid the Deep-Six cover, but I haven't seen the Interrogator cover yet.

Has anyone else noticed the glaring error made by IDW on the opening page of Hearts and Minds #3? It lists Firefly and Tripwire as the characters in the issue. But we all know that they were covered in issue #2. Looks like the editing department dropped the ball on this one. That said, it doesn't take anything away from the story.

yeah, I noticed that mistake on the inside cover too.

This is a great issue! I liked it much better than "Fat Albert Firefly" and the bland Death-Wish Tripwire account we got last time. My main comments are posted on the IDW board, and I definitely recommend this to any Joe fan.

Very happy they redid the Deep-Six cover - the more the characters in the comics reflect our vintage figures the better (well, for the most part)

I was glad they re-did the Deep Six cover also. I thought this was another really good issue, and LOVED the Interrogator story!

the more the characters look like their vintage toys the better... in most cases.... not counting serpentor and gololobulus. their changes were awesome.

This time, Thomas is more of a hero than he was depicted in the DDP series. 'Course, I expect the outcome to be the same...
