Well, we can yap all we want about Hasbro, but it sure is nice of them to keep doing this. Phil: great feature of the new layout to be able to make an announcement thread like this in every section of the forum. Let's see... 1) How will future comics included in comicpacks fit with the known Joe universes? Will they fit with the old Hama-at-Marvel universe? Stand alone issues that could fit anywhere? Explicitly part of the new universe at IDW? Movie comics? A little bit of everything? 2) Who will write future comicpack stories? Hama? Dixon? Others? Gee, I'm having a hard time formulating these, but I'm trying to not let them find an escape hatch.

Sorry if this is already been asked before:
1. How do you plan to introduce new characters, to the comics, tied in with the merchandise. Do we expect to see two or three separate lines of toys based on all mediums? During the marvel run it seemed like the toys pushed the comics, but now with the Movie / Cartoon/ 3 comic adventures / and the 25th line how do you plan on proceeding?
I'm interested in seeing the reinvention of some of our favorites, and ones who never had any life breathed into them. I imagine its important to have to make new characters to successfully push the brand, otherwise all that will be on the shelves will be 4 versions each of Duke an Snake Eyes and Cobra Commander and people will eventually stop buying them. At the same time I hope the comics can develop without having to push out toys that don't fit. So how does that work? Who decides on when we see Recondo/Outback/Hit & Run? It use to be we'd get 10-15 new characters a year maybe. Now there is like 40. Almost too much to buy and too much to develop in a 20 page monthly comic.

My only question: Any plans for a possible Adventure Team Comic anywhere down the line?

Are there any plans on releasing the comics from the comic packs as a series of trade paperbacks?

Here is what I have so far:
1.) How will future comics included in comicpacks fit with the known Joe universes? Will they fit with the old Hama-at-Marvel universe? Stand alone issues that could fit anywhere? Explicitly part of the new universe at IDW? Movie comics? A little bit of everything?
2.) Who will write future comicpack stories? Hama? Dixon? Others?
3.) Are there any plans on releasing the comics from the comic packs as a series of trade paperbacks?
4.) Any plans for a possible Adventure Team Comic anywhere down the line?
5.) How do you plan to introduce new characters, to the comics, tied in with the merchandise? Should we expect to see two or three separate lines of toys based on all mediums? During the marvel run it seemed like the toys pushed the comics, but now with the Movie / Cartoon/ 3 comic adventures / and the 25th line how do you plan on proceeding?
There is still time to get other possible questions in.

The new comic packs appear to be reprints. Is there any plans to resume putting original comics in the comic packs? (possibly a Zanya/Zarana pack?)

Does this mean they chose not to answer any of the previous listed questions?

1. With the inclusion of M.A.S.K. into the toyline, are there any plans to bring elements of M.A.S.K. into the comic universe?
2. Will there be movie comic packs?

Ahhh, many thanks. I think I found the problem. I found this thread in the G.I.Joe Comics - Marvel section and the answers appear to be in the General GI Joe Comic Talk section.
