If you are/were a fan of the Sunbow series (as I am), which character was your favorite? Give it some thought as watching it TODAY, it would seem pretty silly, so try to remember back how you perceived the character as a child.

Cobra Commander, now and always. Never any doubt or challenge to it.

Roadblock was probably always my fave Joe. Watching JOE more recently, though, I find Flint may've took over that spot. I just loved Bill Ratner's performance and how he carried the role. On the Cobra end, Destro was a strong second to CC.

Alpine and Bazooka were always my favorite pairing, though upon watching the series again I was amazed how LITTLE they were featured. Bazooka only made a few cameo appearances in Season 2, and never said a thing until he had 1 line in the movie; while Alpine had a few speaking parts in Season 2 (though only solo) and a few lines in the movie.

And after they were killed in the comics, Doc, Quick Kick and Breaker became bigger faves too. Doc's comic death was, honestly, one of the most jarring comic deaths ever, for me, because of my love for that cartoon. I still shudder when I read it and even think about that issue.

My favorite characters both came in at the same time...Flint and Shipwreck. To be honest, I liked Shipwreck because he looked like my Dad. Flint, his character always appealed to me.

I'd say its Flint and Scarlett. Flint, as voiced by Bill Ratner was exactly what I'd expect. And Flint was one of the few Joes whose cartoon version didn't stray from his comic persona. Just as in the comics, Flint was confident, a capable leader -if it were up to me, I'd place him in charge, not Duke.
The same goes for Scarlett. I liked the way BJ Ward voiced her, and the way Russ Heath designed her for the cartoons was great. Until Sigma Six and Renegades, I didn't think a better animated version of Scarlett can be done.
And as in the case of Flint, Scarlett was in character in the cartoons. Her martial arts skills were used often and we saw her in command, and even her ties to Snake Eyes were used however sparodically. And as in the cartoons, and unlike Lady J, she exhibited a sense of vulnerability. Loved the way she looks whenever she got KOed. Reminded me of the times Wonder Woman got captured in the live action TV series.
