I have not heard anything about it and so I assume not but I hope they will consider it as this movie seems to be better than the first.
I was just wondering if it was going to be later or something. Anyone heard anything???

Two of the prequel comics are already out, with #3 out on the 28th. More to come, fer sure!

I just would like to see the movie adaption to the new one(Retaliation) so I can put it with the Rise of Cobra Movie Adaptation.
I have the prequel issues with Roadblock and Snake eyes and such...

Don't worry. As soon as the movie comes out, I can almost guarantee that the comic adaptation will surface about the same time.

Hmm... well, movie is scheduled to come out late March, the May solicits are now out and still no news of a movie adaptation. I wonder. Shame you didn't fully guarantee it, sean!

......was there an adaptation for the 1st movie? I don't even remember.
I know there were prequel/prelude minis for both movies. These days, that may be enough......

Yup, there was a prequel (4 issues), an adaptation (4 issues), the Snake-Eyes series (4 issues) and Operation Hiss (5 issues): total 17 issues + the 4 prequel issues to Retaliation, which makes 21 issues in the movie universe so far.
There were two things that slipped in the movie adaptation that weren't in the movie:
1) Storm Shadow claims he did not kill the Hard Master
2) Scarlett tells Rip-Cord she and Snake Eyes are not a couple
In the RoC director's comments they confirmed that the first line was cut from the film. I imagine it's the same for the second, but that the movie adaptations were already at the printer's.

There will be no movie comic released. IDW confirmed this. I don't have the link, but it should be pretty easy to find. Bummer.

I asked the question myself for the exact reason we all did. his answer want what I expected especially since IDW's main comics are all connected to movies in some way
