And now... it's back.

IDW sure is doing lots of interesting ideas with lots of different characters.
I Like It.
The more they do it the more its makes the reboot worth it.

Hey, I'm old too.
Don't the lyrics say "mighty wind?" I didn't get the reference either, so the ending really popped me one. Younger, more metal... maori tattoos? Okay.
Appreciated his "call me an eskimo" line.
Vargas went down easy. Let's see how much of a fight they have getting the antidote.
The great exodus of ill people (or, not-yet-ill people) is scary. There's a lot of picking up and moving on coming out of this contest. I don't see how much worse any sort of devastation can get unless the virus gets bigger, or the race for the antidote becomes a big 'ol set-up. Well... I guess Cobra can blow up the tuna with everyone on board or something, but the Joes are pretty confident about every nut and bolt on board except the sensors.

Nope, its "Mighty Quinn" or if your from Pittsburgh "Mighty Guins"

My comments from the IDW boards:
A ton of fun seeing Snake-Eyes and Duke working together! This is a good, fast-paced issue with plenty of action. Dixon delivers and I'm still loving the bio-warfare plot going on. I agree that Duke's solution to getting Dr. Vargas to talk is great! The helicopter get-away at the end with the missiles going in through the front door - ha ha - too good! The story certainly didn't grab me as much as what we got in #171, but this is still a good, rock-solid entry that I think any Joe fan would enjoy.
Unfortunately I agree with others that the art does not do the story justice. I wouldn't say the artist is bad. There were some things that I liked. The crazed look in Duke's eyes at the bottom of page 13, for example. But over all I have to say that the artist's style just doesn't seem right for G.I. Joe. It took some effort at times to get my head into the story due to the art not feeling right.
Going back to a positive note, I'm very excited about the reboot debut of Kwinn - this was a great way to finish off the issue and leave us wanting #7
Script: "B" Art: "C-"

I'm enjoying Dixon's writing more in Season Two than I did in Season One for some reason. Not that I disliked it in Season One, but maybe it was the shock of a new universe, it's never the same, you know.
But I think it also feels more like the military comic I was expecting from him and less cartoonesque.
Kwinn! Thank you Chuck!
