Love the incentive cover. I have to say that I prefer a title to be self-contained and not make you buy multiple titles to follow one story (cough-MARVEL-cough ), but the more I read the three Joe titles in the IDW-verse, the more I like them. Even if the story haven't been the best at times, the art has been spectacular for the most part.

I am surprised that there is not more talk about this issue. It was really good. Some highlights for me: 1) The Mechs 2)Storm Shadow recognized by Joes 3)SE sneaking up to the tanks and taking them down 4)Team Foxtrot 5)Alpine's recovery(New Legs) 6)Duke in charge again(if but to make Scarlett mad haha) 7)Is Helix dead? She can forsee human actions but what about mechs? She probaly survived because Mechs are operated by humans CC taking charge... 9)Scarlett, DT and Mainframe talking... 10)The last page with SS back...

I just read this. I liked it. Movie Snake Eyes is back.
I need to reread it. It was weird. Some parts were novel, and others looked like parts of the movie comics. A few things were really great.

For some reason this artist draws Iceberg as if he resembles Alpine (including the hat) and he draws Alpine as if he resembles Iceberg. Not sure if this was intentional, but it kept throwing the story off for me. I kept having to do double-takes to make sure I knew who was speaking. (BTW, Atkins drew them the way we're all accustomed to, so this makes it even more bizarre for me.)

Cobra Command is strange. I feel like not much happens in each issue plotwise, but the overall story progresses very well. The books are well connected, I guess, but they don't have a lot of distinctive personality.
Anyway, good issue again.
