On Amazon.com, we've now a got a look at a new cover and the interior of the book. I'm not sure if it's for everybody, but I love this kind of thing.

Not crazy about the cover change (the CC one was great), but I'm right with ya, jmmcfadd.........I *love* this kind of stuff too; and it's something we JOE/ARAH fans have been kinda without for a long time.

The last time I really reveled in this kind of material was..........oy, in 1994; the JoeCon convention magazine, which featured a ton of prototypes for the cancelled ARAH '94 line.

The same author already put out two volumes of similar Transformers books, so I guess the 2nd volume of this has been authorized based on that. Also, maybe they got a lot of online pre-orders of volume 1.

I've spoken to the author, Jim Sorenson, and it seems that a few unnamed characters in the cartoon -- mostly the various scientists that pop up -- are actually named on the model sheets. I presume to make it easier to keep track of who was who. He was kind enough to let me know those names for inclusion in my timeline book. But I'll say no more about that since his book has yet to come out.

Now, if I can just learn what the Oktober Guard was shouting everytime they ran into battle. It was something in Russia, I'd assume...
Seriously... I want to know.

You can pre-order it right now on Amazon for about $10.00 off the cover price. As a huge fan of the Sunbow cartoon, this is a must!
