The more I see and hear about it, the less I'm on board with it. However, I'm not one to cast an opinion without first checking out the product so I'll probably at least give the first issue a whirl. (Of course it's more expensive doing that now with $3.99 comics than when they were $2.99 or $1.99.)

found out about this the other day and told the lcs not to pull any of these for me. he said he didnt think i would want it so wasnt going to order me any.

i do everything joe and i mean everything, but i cant stand the zombie crap and have no idea why its the hot thing to have? not into cross overs either, one of the reasons i left marvel titles. just as a plot line gets going and i get sucked in some event happens that cross's over the entire universe and they never go back to it. marvel has to many loose ends with their stuff no wonder why they reboot all the time. plus i dont want to buy 15 other books i dont care about just to read a story in the book i do care about.

im glad this is a seperate thing and doesnt cross over to the main title. or at least thats what i was told. to me this joe book doesnt exist. i can see what idw is trying to do and had it been a cross over not involving zombies i might have given all the first issues a shot to see if i like it or waited for the trade if the reviews were good, no chance of that now.

Walking Dead is the only zombie comic I give a crap about and I trade wait on it. Just picked up volume #13 last week. This? Well...who cares? Really?

Specifically GI Joe: Infestation #1 is coming out next week. Infestation #1 has already come out, and it was pretty good. It reminded me of SPOOKS.

I actually picked up the retailer incentive sketchbook to this today while making my FCBD rounds. Got it for 20% off so I only paid $4. Plus it had a IDW Star Trek Infestation patch in the comic bag. It had pics of SE, Baroness, and CC as zombies. That's cool. I just don't need to see them in stories as zombies.

Infestation #2c at bottom of the page matches what I have in hand minus the word "Sketchbook" under the title. It has Baroness on left, Prime in middle, and a generic zombie on the right with that zombie hand pulling at cover on the bottom. It's also stapled at the top so you have to turn it sideways to look at it when you open it. Does that help?

I've had this one hidden somewhere for over a year and just got around to reading it. Not bad, but not great. Problem is, I don't really like vampire / zombie stuff in general, so it's hard for me to care for this series.
