LOL. Opposite here, Jamar.
Dear Mr. Hama,
PLEASE don't get too heavy on the ninja's again.
Sincerely,
Dave

Personally I would like to see the Ninjas go away for awhile BUT if they do it, then I want to see someone else than just SS, SE and Billy.
If we are going to do it, lets bring in Jinx and the other obscure guys.

I can't see him doing that, they (moreso than most others) were a product of the very toy-heavy ends-of-days of JOE. Maybe (like the IDWverse did) if he played down the colorfulness and 90'sness of them......but I kinda doubt it.

well the only hope I have is that he has been using some obscure or end of the original line guys recently
Topside Blizzard Crystal Ball Darklon even
I think the characters have a lot of potential if done right
Still wish they would have made Slice and Dice on the same level of Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow and be their "Mortal Enemies " !

I really like the cover. I think it's my favorite of the series so far. Just hope my comic book store has this cover available. That said, I hope Hama handles the ninja stuff well and isn't grandiose and hokey. And after this, I hope they go away for a while and we get to some traditional military action.

I think anything that expands the Arashikage Ninja Clan story and the Tommy's family is awesome. It is what is the root of all Joe stories. And since SE & SS are on the same side it makes great sense to have them fighting other ninjas.
I don't we should see the ninja force as it was but a couple of them as reinforcements are cool.

That is some good investigating!!
And if anything was going to set off Snake Eyes on a killing spree it would be the death of Billy.
It had to happen sooner than later and he has lasted a lot longer than many of the figured Joes.
I hope it is not the case

Too bad I was enjoying this book

I guess I can kind of understand where you're coming from...but really - if you're enjoying the book, why drop it? I love GI Joe also, but it's just a comic book. Don't get me wrong, I really liked what DDP did with it, and I loved most of Americas Elite. I was upset that IDW chose to ignore everything DDP did, but at the same time, I'm just glad to continue getting GI Joe comics, especially now that all the titles are getting better.

basically because I am not a comic book reader
I dont care about "GI JOE COMICS"
I care about reading the entire story of "THE STORY" I have been reading since I was a kid.
joe and TF was the only books I have ever read
I only read joe because its the same story I been reading since I was like 10 . and I came back to joe comics because of DDP. Because it was the same story I had to find out what happened next.
ignoring all of that DDP stuff, for me, breaks that story. and so I have no interest.
I dont read Tfs anymore because its not the same story I read when I was a kid. And the new 81 coming from IDW, probably not interested because it ignores the official continuity of g2, something that came from the same writer, same company, and sometimes same artist of the first Tfs comics.
Just comes down to I am not a comic book guy and the only reason I read these books is because its the same story I been reading for so long. Again Break that storyline and I am gone.
I will read something else for enjoyment. Something that is not a comic book.
