This cover on Volume one makes more sense. All those characters appear in the issues inside, if that's Wet-Suit, anyway. It's doesn't look like Wet-Suit's outfit really, but the colors match Wet-Suit. He actually appears in fatigues in issue #8, though, as he's operating on land. Dusty is actually pretty prominent in issue #13, and is right on the cover. I think Wild Bill would probably be appropriate for any volume, since he shows up a lot in the series.
I think it's great that all of these stories are being reprinted! Some of us who have all the old issues sometimes forget many haven't seen them for years. And I think older fans will find that many Special Missions issues work better when you're older.

I got a feeling if Robert knew what he was doing a cover for he would include characters from those issues, Cause Robert is just like that as an artist, especially one who cares about GI Joe.
Yeah, at least they some what match the interior, I would still prefer a reconfigured Special Missions cover like the first one then original Atkins art. Save those great covers for hte Main series.

That is obviously a drawing of Torpedo, so why is he colored as Wet-Suit?

Did anyone pick this up? My local comic book store closed and my new store didn't get my copy in, yet. Just curious of how it looked.

I also have volume 3 on order at a local bookstore and have had it in hand. I have to special order EVERY single trade I want now at my local BAM. They slap unremovable security tags on them and while I understand why? I don't want that crap defacing my books. Volume 4 was advertised in the back of volume 3 and comes out in July. Has a Cobra cover with SS, Destro, Baroness, CC on it.

I think July might be optimistic though. The Classic Joe vol 12 is now listed on amazon and indigo.ca and it is coming in August. Still no sign of SM 4 on either site. I'm in no rush, as long as it comes and looks nice and complete when it does!
