I think this will just about do it, unless they slap the Cobra Commander / Megatron cover on volume 10

If IDW decides to go with some new Campbell art for the remaining trades, I wouldn't mind seeing 101-110 have an updated #109 cover.

Vol 10 - 91-100 Vol 11 - 101-110 Vol 12 - 111-120 Vol 13 - 121-130 Vol 14 - 131-140 - TF show up Vol 15 - 141-150 - TF leave Vol 16 - 151-155 ?
I wonder if we will see larger TPBs so that there is not one with 5 issues.

I'd be happy if the final trade included the Special #1 and the Order of Battle issues.
(hint hint IDW!!)

I think what they are going to do is do at least 3-4 issues of the new larry hama IDW continuation of the marvel run and include that in the final TPB to make it the same as the others

I was thinking they might do the same thing. The only problem I have with that is this new Larry Hama RAH continuiation will be too new to be considered a "classic". I hope they do something else to fill it out to include 10 issues. Like the Special, Order of Battle issues, and or the Yearbook origional stories.

I'm thrilled to see this issues finally getting reprinted, but I have to admit it I wish we had gotten some new covers, or at least covers taken from the old issues. And not only for superficial reasons. I just think that it's adds a little confusion to what series is being reprinted if fans see DDP covers. I suppose lots of these things are sold online more than in the past, and people will know what they're about, but if these show up on a bookstore shelf, I fear someone could pass them by, thinking they're DDP reprints.
I'm sure this saves money, etc, but I'd think something new would catch someone's eye better.

Ok, IDW is officailly gone crazy on their choice of covers for the Classic series. First they use the Campbell covers that MArvel created, then Campbell covers that don't match the contents or even the same continuity and now we have original covers by Atkins.
I love Atkins art and at least its the Baroness & Destro and they are major characters in those storiesin those issues. So now we at least have matching characters to the stories.
But come on pick a style and stick with it. If its Atkins art let be Atkins art until then but stop being all over the place.
And one thing to avoid is in the last issue of #155 in a year from is to put a comment at the end with something along the lines "and the story continuies with #155 1/2 pick up the trade." NO, no, no It must be left open for the DDP story line continuity.
Anyway, for reason the cover choices of the Classic series is my biggest complainennt I have against what IDW is doing with GI Joe. (Other then the disavowed continuity mess, but that is over with now anyway)

So, maybe they just heard the complaints and responded to the fans! Nothing wrong with that. It's also possible at least some of these covers were just placeholders to sell them months in advance. I still would've liked them to just commission someone to give us some art that represented the stories inside. Even if it was cheap, semi-competent artist, I would've preferred that to something that someone may confuse for a DDP trade paperback.
