The book sounds great, anybody read it?

Also, if you read the interview, Sgt. Meyer names checks Joe and Hama as the start of his interest in a military career.

I saw this at my comic shop (let's hear it for shop that gets ALL the indy stuff....literally)

The story looked pretty solid, the art was disjointed. It was obviously at least two different artists.

There was mention of a trade coming out later, and I thought I would check that out. (I am doing the same thing with the new Haunted Tank comic.)

Yeah the art was started by Sgt Meyer himself, but when he was re-deployed he hired an artist to finish it (tho he says he got lucky and had an easy desk job in one of Saddam's old palaces!)

In the interview, he said that it was planned as a TPB, but he scrapped that deal and focus just on this one issue but then they may go back and do the initially planned TPB, which was the same battle from different perspectives.
