Alright, the 11 page preview is out in the new Omega Team TPB.
The story opens up with Omega Team taking on a morphing demon-like creature in Japan. During the battle, SGT Biggs from SPOOKS HQ calls it seems Frank has been seen...but he also took Air Force One with the President aboard. Next scene is Zach visiting Scribbles in his lab when Felicia comes in. She talks Zach into helping her find Frank before Omega Team does.....and the race is on.

Those preview pages are nice to see, but are they simply the first 11 pages from The Hunt for Frank #1? If so that's half the issue #1 already. Isn't that what they did with the last tradepaperback preview pages? I can't remember. I just don't want to pay $3.50 for a book where the first half I already have. If those are origional pages that lead into #1 then great. No harm no foul. Otherwise I might just skip the single issues on this for the future trade release. I do however still plan on getting this trade.

Last time it was part of the .99 cent special.
Not sure what the plan is for this one.

Any update on if this will ever see release? Or is it another DDP book that went on hiatus and will never be seen or heard from again? I am starting to lose intrest. 8 months is a little long to wait between a preview and the book getting released. Yes. I know it has not been solicated yet, but I wonder, could this book get released without DDP involvement? I am steadily losing faith in them as a company that will last much longer. I only read Hack/Slash now and they are loosing my intrest in that book as well due to how it is getting released. Know anything about this books release Phil?

I exchanged e-mails with Ryan Schifrin about a month ago and he said it was still coming.
DDP did some restrucuring and that put a delay on the book. The creative team is still on board though.

I'm a big fan of Spooks. I've been looking for news about the Hunt for Frank. Is it still coming out? Has anyone heard anything?

There is some documentation that needs to be completed first (on the creative side of the house). Timeline unknown.

Long delays do nothing but make me loose intrest. It's now been over a year since that preview in the Omega Squad tradepaperback. I hate to say it, but I wish they would get this away from DDP and publish it elsewhere. That's got to be the center of the problem right?
