It's very likely going to be Krake. Vargas is too much of a wuss to be one. My feeling is that the new CC will be one that some Cobra agents in high command will not like nor appreciate. That's why I think we're going to witness two more CCs. This one will be in Cobra Command and what's after that, will be the 3rd Commander and the guy I'm rooting for had a three part origin in GIJOE Origins.

Krake will be the bastardization of Cobra while whomever 'offs' him will steer the organization back on the right track. I kind of smell a retread of Ridley Scott's "Gladiator" from IDW on the Cobra Command storyline.

Sort of. Right now it is a power struggle and soon someone will win by this month or the next. The new CC will be revealed in January in a Cobra annual issue. But in Cobra Command, i predict it'll be an examination of what happens when the WRONG person takes over Cobra and from there, a new power struggle will occur. . .covertly.

And if it's Krake who wins, then there's only one man who can take him out.

i just cant wait for this whole thing to be over. to me its just sooooo boring. they have all the known high ups going in to be cc. so as to not loose any of those fav's as a "character" they will pick a up and comer to be the new cc.

im guessing someone like a skullbuster will mini nuke a bunch of joes and be like i just got the biggest head count and im not even in your game make me cc. the people in the race from what i can tell dont even want to be cc, they act pretty casual about the whole thing so they will be ok with letting him take over while they continue to run their own seperate factions like they have been and using cobra's name as their foot hold into what ever operations they want in and give the new cc lip service in the mean time.

the only book i am enjoying is the se book in this series. to me its like se special missions on a vendetta. the thing i fear is what becomes of the book after the new cc is picked? it might continue for awhile since the man after se can care less about the compatition but se bouncing all over the globe chasing him killing his minions left and right only goes so far before it gets old.

be nice to see how this wraps up and moves forward from here. this got me like ww3 did. some cool hype, excitment was built, starts off with a bang then....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
