They've been plagued with $$$ problems for a few years, they owe creators money, have lost HACK/SLASH and other properties to other publishers, and haven't released anything in a while. And now I notice their website isn't even up anymore.

Collecting the never finished epic sci-fi series for the 1st time. What is the point of putting something like this out. They never ended it, never went back to it and there is little to no chance they ever will. Its a little disingenuous presenting this as a complete story when there is no ending.... If IDW is going to start it up again that would be a different story, but personally I have lost interest.

Wait, I'm confused. Are you saying the story was finished? Did the Obama thing have an ending for the whole thing? (didn't read it...)
The 'never's I used were colloquial and simple meant 'up to this point it has not happened'
I didn't say they would never finish it, only that there was little to no chance of then doing it.
So are you just being glass is half full or do you know something?
Thinking about it maybe I haven't lost interest as much as I had just lost hope...

Plans or possibilities?
Cranking out a reprint volume costs IDW nothing. Heck if they can't get enough orders they can just cancel it and only be out nominal promotion expenses. but if it sells well they can pick it back up again. Anyone can see that.
What I want to know is this a concentrated effort that IDW is making or are they just throwing it on the wall to see if it sticks? Is the creative team working on new material or have they been told not to hold their breathe? Or none of the above?
Oh well in the fullness of time all will be revealed....
