It is with great sadness that I tell you all that Julian Hellstrom(not his real name) has passed away. He died in a car accident. He has been my friend here in South Carolina since fifth grade. We have had so much in common(He-Man, GI Joe, Transformers, etc)He will be missed! Please keep his mother in your thoughts and prayers as he was an only child! I Love you, Julian!

I am so saddened to hear this news. In the correspondents I had with him on the boards and through PMs, he was a nice, fun guy. I will certainly keep his mother in my prayers. I will also be praying for you, Fatherlove.

Wow....I just went numb.

I never met Hellstrom in person, but he was a valued member of this board and the Joe online community.

I will keep his family and friends in my thoughts and prayers.

Oh my God.... I've talked to him (post-wise, but still) over the course of many years - here and the old DDP boards. So sad to hear this. My condolences to his family and loved ones.

RIP Hellstorm. :(

Thank you all so much for your kind words about him! I appreciate also your thoughts and prayers for me and his mom, who lost her "only child".

Wow, this is sad news. While I've never met him in person, and don't know him in "real life" we have had many conversations online, both on the boards and by pm. This really saddens me. My condolences to you fatherlove and to his family.

Today is his funeral and I am reading a poem I wrote about him. I will miss him so much! We had spent the whole day together and then only hours later, he had died. The Holy Spirit is giving me comfort and peace, despite this terrible thing happening. I appreciate all of the Love and support from you all!

It's cool to see you on the forums Fatherlove...but this must be a very hard, and depressing time for you. :(

My memory is crap, so I don't know if myself and Hellstrom ever talked on the forums. I used to talk to a lot of members on the DDP forums, and a few here from time to time...so maybe we did chat about G.I. Joe or any other subject matter.

My condolences to the surviving Mother, and of course to you Fatherlove.

This is really sad to read.

I feel sorry for his family and friends. I know I'll miss reading his posts on here and the IDW boards. I've known of him since the DDP boards, but I don't recall meeting him at any of the Joe cons.

RIP Hellstrom.

Kelvin and I went to three(3) GI Joe comic book conventions together. Two in Florida and one in Atlanta, Georgia. We had such fun times and I even fell asleep on his shoulder on the train(Of course, he had to take a picture for "evidence". haha)

He was a really dear friend and I am glad I was able to spend the day with him before he died around 6 pm.(8;30 am to 2;30 pm) He had a great sense of humor! I will miss him so much because we talked often and we had been friends for sooo long!

However, I am trying to be strong! Thanks for the kind words to me! It is great being on these boards again and seeing great guys like CC1973 and Seaneley(that weird guy, haha) still posting away!

"Weird" is right! Heh... Anywhoo, I'm in Myrtle Beach, so I'm not too far away. Let me know if you need anything. Keep the faith.

:)
